Sherlock has puppies!

A few months ago Gideon Yoder from Honey Brook PA contacted us about using Sherlock as a stud for his Sweet Dahlia!  We found out that he is a very responsible Breeder and she has passed all her certifications (hip, eye, heart, elbow, and thyroid). We got to know Dahlia over the week she was here and she is an exceptional Golden.  Very calm and low key and she has very good looks to boot.  She got along great with us and Sherlock and Mia too.  She is American Golden… but she has all the blocky features that you find in most English Creams.

The puppies are almost 8 weeks old and doing wonderfully!  They are a adorable mix of mom and daddy ranging in color and size.  They are also listed on Greenfield puppies but I’ll post pictures of each of them here.  And if your interested you can call Gideon at 484-796-3017. The puppies are sold up to date on shots and wormer. They can be registered with the AKC and come with a 2 year health guarantee provided by Gideon. Give him a call if you want to make an appointment to stop buy and visit.  Be prepared tho… you will very likely fall in love.  On Jan 27th they are ready for new homes!  The litter had 8 puppies and below are the 5 that still aren’t spoken for.  🙂

And then all of the sudden…

… In the span of 4 days they were all out of here.  😦  It’s happy yet sad all at the same time.  I’ll start with Ava… sweet Ava. She was the only girl but she would not be left our of any action.  But from day one she was doted upon and loved to death by Tiff Gulden and her mom Mary from Honey Brook (25 min away).  They stopped in to see her at least once a week and it for real was so much fun getting to know them and seeing them fall in love with her.  And her with them.  They are wonderful dog loving people and i know they will love her so well.   And we love that she doesn’t live far away.

And then The Anthony and Sharon Scalies came and picked up their boy’s.  Raphael and Caleb are way way lucky!  They have each other, a great family, a saint bernard sibling (about the same age) and a fenced in yard and swimming pool.  Yea… they are lucky.  And I can only imagine the caos that the Scalies house is in right now.  This too shall pass. 🙂  Tony and Sharon are from Coatsville PA so we are super excited about getting to see them sometimes. 🙂

And Rally (Joshua) went to live in Felton DE with Don Wills (pictured with his mom and Max).  He is a lucky boy.  Don is great himself, has twin 16 year old sons, and a great dog named max whom I was honored to meet. Joshua is very loved.  Bring him to see us anytime Don!

Koby (Clifford) is now safe and sound with the Richardson family in Upper Montclair NJ.  Pictured is Bob, Charlie, and Eileen.  They are friends of the Sangers who have Cooper from our last litter.  They are great people and I hear reports that Charlie and Allyson are fighting over him. 🙂  

Codi (AKA Benji) went to live in Baltimore with Wayne and Ellen Francis.  He is a lucky lucky boy too.  Super sweet dog loving people.  He is an adventure loving little guy and I’m sure he found it. 🙂 Picture of them is coming soon.

Once again thanks for following our journey with another litter.  We are happy with our 5 happy families and puppies.  Mia seems to be adjusting well this time around.  Maybe the gorgeous weather helps with that!

Play, Play, Play…

Yes… just tons of fun right now.  Nobody ever loved life more then a puppy.  🙂  So enjoy the eye candy you all!  We used Zach as our prop.  Believe me at this age they don’t just sit there and inch their way to the edge of the chair.  They leap off. 🙂  So Zach did great…he had to hold tight tho… they are wiggly at this age!

Benji… now he was the wiggliest.  I think he’s also the smallest and he doesn’t miss much.  But Maybe eating just isn’t his priority.  No worries tho … he isn’t skinny. 🙂  He is just a healthy weight.

Only two more weeks before they all go to their families.  We are enjoying this while it lasts… but it is a circus. 🙂  A very fun one tho.  Like we said before… they are a extra calm bunch.  But they are still puppies. LOL.   Happy Wednesday to you all!

5 weeks old…

It has been a really fun week around here.  Puppies where chosen by families, and we made new friends.  It’s the part I love.

All the puppies are placed except for Joshua.  We aren’t in any rush to find him a home because he is recovering from a tail injury/infection.  We don’t know what happened but it appears that the tip got injured somehow… and then Mia may have done an over grooming job. Anyway… the vet said he will be fine and for now it’s purely cosmetic. And we see it getting better every day.  It’s gonna be waggen just like all the sibs soon.  We will keep you updated on him… he is just so sweet.  Very laid back and chill with such good looks.

This is Tiff Gulden (Ava’s mommy), Zach, Hadassah and Ava. We decided Ava was up for a groupie this round since Tiff and her mom Mary were here for a visit at the time of the photoshoot. 🙂

I think that this pic (below) is so cute because Hadassah and Ava have the same expression.  Yes Puppies do smile. 🙂

Caleb… he is a looker too. And he is going to be living in Coatsville with the Scalies family.  And he is extra lucky because his brother Raphael is going there too… 🙂 Oh what fun they will have together.  Fenced in yard, pool, and very fun family!

Clifford here… yea he is still a little bigger then all the rest… but not by too much.  He is going to live in Upper Montclair NJ with the Richardsons.  He will be very loved without a doubt.  Great people!   But seriously … look at this … he is in mid air. 🙂  The pups are all so laid back and not that fast yet… so I don’t know how but my some miracle we could this pic.  I love it!  If I remember right this is the time Michael caught him in Mid air on his way down. 😀

Fun and Cuteness all over the place…

Yea pretty much.  See for yourself… They are all just so sweet.  We are noticing that their personalities are more calm all around this litter.  Usually we have one or two that are just more eager then ever to jump off that chair.  But not this round.  We will see how they develop over the next few weeks… but yea… definitely different then the other litters.  Whole lotta lazy cuddlers right here.  🙂  Don’t be fooled tho… they will still drive you crazy with their energy in about 3 months. LOL.

Tomorrow and Saturday 3 of the boys are going to get chosen by the Richardson and Scalies Families (not picked up… just visited). Then one boy looks like he might be getting picked by a family from Baltimore (thay visit next week… and then we will have more details).  So one boy available yet as of today.  So far they are all going to be so spoiled.  I’ll try to take lots of pictures of their families and show them off to you soon in another post.  🙂  Seeing them become part of families is my very favorite part of this process.  I remember how we felt when we went and meet Mia as a little pup.  Just so fun.

Three weeks old and growing like weeds!  So much fun.  Here they are one by one!

This is Clifford.  He was really in a posing mood today. 🙂

Caleb… well he was just tuckered out. 🙂

Ava was on a roll because right then she had her family here to see her.  So she was a little excited needless to say. 🙂

Raphael was only interested in Charming our socks off.  Mission accomplished.  🙂

Joshua was also really feeling snoozy. 🙂

Benji was just plain being adorable.  He was sportin a little tude. 🙂

This is Tiff… Ava’s mommy.  She came for a visit today and loved up on Ava and her brothers.  She also helped me do the photo shoot and trimmed all 120 toe nails. 🙂  She is awesome!  🙂 She used to be a vet tech so she knows so much about puppies and dogs.  We are lucky we met!   We Just love when families come see their babies.

2 of our boys are going to Scalies family from Honeybrook/Coatsville area.  We are so excited that they get to be together!   YAY!

2 weeks and peeking!

Yes… their eyes opened over the weekend.  And they are two weeks old tomorrow.  Can’t wait to show them off to you so here goes!

Introducing our one little girl!  And is she ever a sweetie!  She wasn’t even a week old before she got claimed by the Gullden Family from Honeybrook PA.  They only live about 25 minutes from here and we are so glad she isn’t going far.  Isn’t she just darling?  Enjoy the eye Candy Tiff and Mary!  Oh and just so you all know… she will be spoiled rotton with the Gullden family.  Come visit her again soon you guys!  Oh… and her name is Ava London.  

And this is Caleb… his main interest right now is eating and sleeping.  We can’t wait to see more of his personality develop as he grows.  Seriously they are growing so fast right now.

This is Joshua… he is just as chill as ever “yet”.  🙂  We do think though that with the personality’s of the parents they will all be pretty chill.  🙂  Just a handsome bunch of boys aren’t they?

And this is Benji. 🙂  Anyway… look at him just peeking at you.  So cute.

Clifford… yea… he is the biggest so that’s why I named him Clifford.  🙂  He needs a red collar I know.  But yea… he is the biggest.  We really should consider making him diet.  But He likes to eat so much!  Who likes a diet anyway?  Fat is the new cute around here anyway. 🙂

This is Raphael… he would much rather sleep then pose for a picture so that’s just what he did.  When your a two week old puppy you do exactly what you feel like.  Who can blame him.  Really… you just get away with anything.  You would too if you were so cute and innocent. 🙂 

So they had their first deworming dose this evening.  They are growing so fast.  Summer is just a great time to have puppies.  It’s just fun all around.

As of Today We have 4 boys that are not spoken for.  The Richardson famliy from Upper Montclair NJ is coming to pick out their boy in a week or two.  They are Friends of the Sangers who have Cooper from the our last litter.  So we are sure they are just wonderful people since they were sent to us by the Sangers. Can’t wait to meet them soon!

We are getting calls every day so there are several families considering adopting a boy at this point.  So if you interested give me a call soon!   Happy Monday to you all!

Proud to introduce…

6 New babies!  

Puppies that is.  They are just so sweet.  And you can pretty much watch them grow.  We will be updating pictures of them every week or so.  We have 5 boys and 1 girl.

Most important thing now is to introduce and their daddy.  For the last two litters we had our own Sherlock for Daddy.  But because of a few joint (hip and elbow) issues with 2 of the pups we are not using him again… or at least not for now. We think it might be the combination of Sherlock and Mia that caused the problems.  Because Sherlock had several litters with other females and there were never any problems and the same with Mia.  So that’s the conclusion we came to after consulting our breeder friends. Even with certified (good) hips this can happen at times with certain genetic combinations.   We were considering hanging up breeding totally because we didn’t think we would find a dog as fine as Sherlock to be their daddy.  But we DID!  And we are so happy with our decision.

Introducing Chance! AKA Golden Acres Taken By Chance.

Not only does he have smashing good looks but he has an amazing calm personality.  Honestly I’ve never seen a Golden be so chill and sweet.  He is friendly but definitely not the type to go crazy and jump all over you.  He just comes up to you and stands there waiting for you to give him attention.  Seriously I loved meeting him.   Our local friends Dave and Verna Stoltzfus own him and they also have a litters once in awhile as they have a female or two.

But anyway…. yea… he is just very cool.  And with Mia’s calm personality I feel pretty confident this is a great great combo. 🙂

Graduating… and lookin good!

Jack Frost… be still my heart.  Tonight He was absolutely the most photogenic puppy in the history of proud foot. I mean seriously.  Just sit down and look so handsome.  I’m not sure I will be able to put him on the plane tomorrow Zach. 🙂  Oh he is just way too handsome… and just so calm.  Another one of him just because he leaves us tomorrow and we are happy for him and sad for us.

yea… Ugh.  So so adorable.

Twinkle… Her Family thinks they might name her Ivory.  I think it totally fits.  She is so beautiful.  And sweet.  I know… I’m starting to sound like a broken record.  But if you were me … you would too. 😀

Noelle… the little fritzmuffin.  She did NOT want to pose.  She had places to go and things to explore.  So Michael had to hold her.  And even then it took awhile before I got her distracted little eyes to look my way.  She is going to LOVE the kids when she goes home with the Oeltjen family.  She is so fun!

sweet Jingle.  He was planning a jump here.  🙂  He is going to be a christmas surprise for the Gartside Kid.  Oh they will just love him.  He is fairly chill but he loves a good party. 🙂  So good looking.

Christopher.  Look out Fuget Family.  There is a ball of fun coming your way.  And he is Just as handsome as they come.  🙂  He can hardly wait to meet you Jen!  He already loves John and Justin.

Nicholas.  He also had things he would rather have done then pose.  🙂  But he did ok… for a snap.  He is so much fun.  And I would say that he is about the friendliest little guy in the bunch (cooper is very close the same in my opinion).  HE LOVES PEOPLE!  Look out Jackie and Amanda… it’s going to be a very Jolly Christmas!  😀

Here is Cooper (aka snickerdoodle).  He went to live with the Sanger family in New Jersey.  The news I hear is he did great on the way home and is settling in and adjusting just great.  Michael and I were looking at the pictures they sent us via text and feeling Jealous of the whole new puppy experience.  There is just nothing like it.  Check out our facebook page for a few cute ones of Cooper in his new home.  He is a lucky pup.

7 weeks… and so LOVABLE

Let’s start with the ever so handsome Mr. Christopher.  He is one of the big boys and more laid back.  Him and his brother Jingle (Below) are very similar in looks and personality…  we have a the Fuget family from the Jersey Shore is coming on Saturday to choose between the two… I don’t know how they are going to decide.  They are both so sweet.

This is Jingle.  You know what I mean?  Ugh… we might just want to keep him.  Oh well… but that might be hard because we have quite a few clamoring for him right now.  We will wait and see which one the Fugets pick and then see what happens. Here they are… both of them…

Jingle left and Christopher right.  I think they are pretty much the twins in the bunch.

Jach Frost.  He is such a lucky boy.  We found out just last night that he is going to live in Scottsdale AZ with Zach Denney.  We hesitate to ship because we prefer to meet the families.  But after talking to Zach… and hearing about his place and his parents place in Oregon we just couldn’t say no.  Zach knew what he wanted and was great to work with. Maybe it helped that we our two year old son’s name is Zach. 🙂  We know that Jack will have a great life there.  Fenced in yard, and pool etc.  I told my husband that having a pool in PA is nice.  But having one in Arizona is way way better because you can use it most of the year.  We are so happy for Zach and Jack frost.  I’m not sure which is luckier. 🙂

Jack frost again. 🙂 we weighed him because he seemed like the biggest.  He is 11.10 lb.  And his smallest brother Cooper (aka snickerdoodle) weighs in at 7.10.  They are both as healthy as ever.  I really wonder what their full grown weights will be.

Cooper … the snooper.  No really he is such a fun little guy.  He loves to explore and get into things.  Look out Sanger family… you in for a lotta lovin!  🙂

This is Nicholas.  He is no saint but he is the most friendly little guy ever.  He picked on Hadassah tonight… it was adorable.  He just wanted to play with her.  And she wasn’t really in the mood.  They are almost as big as her and definitely moving faster so they aren’t quite the good thrill they used to be for her…

Anyway… Nicholas is going to live in Lewes beach Delaware with Amanda, Jackie & kids.  Oh and sweet Zoe their 14 year old Golden.  They will love him so well I’m sure!

Here she is.  And we found out today that she is going to live in Oeltjen family in Moorestown New Jersey.  She will have lots of kids to play with and a large yard and home.  She is so lucky. And her new Name is Ruby.  I think it totally fits.

And sweet Twinkle. I love how she struck such a lady like pose. She is going to be a christmas surprise From L.F. to her Husband!  They live in Maryland.  No doubt she will make all the neighbors Jealous.  🙂
